Maricela was born and grew up in a trash dump without the opportunity to go to school. At 16 she moved in with her boyfriend, became a mum and a victim of severe domestic abuse. Maricela and her kids were almost beaten to death by her partner.
Maricela became the most XtraOrdinary version of herself. She now owns a house and is an incredible seamstress. She dreams of becoming a fashion designer. We know the right opportunity can change a life. We teach women the skills they need to themselves build brighter, happier, independent futures.
